ACEO size, 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" done in vintage Eberhard Faber Mongol "Paint with Pencils" watercolor pencils, Sakura Koi watercolors, and Pigma Micron pens.
Illustration for Robert Bakker's great nature novel, "Raptor Red." The title heroine and her young male consort sit on the rocks at sunset watching the tides and will soon see unusual sea creatures, baiting a large kronosaur that almost beaches itself and playing with jellyfish and ammonites after a day spent crab-catching on the beach. This is one of the most romantic books I've read in my life and is my favorite romantic novel.

Oh man! I didn't know his book was this popular! I thought I was reading something way out there (and I was!) This absolutely stunning! I love that book so much!
