2 1/2" x 3 1/2" Derwent Drawing Pencils on buff (beige) Canson Mi-Tientes paper.
Another songbird from the Artist's Photo Reference: Songbirds and Other Favorite Birds, this one caught my eye both for his smooth gray feathers and shiny beak, and for the shadows going across his back. I did the background very simply using Mars Violet for distant foggy winter branches.
