6 Derwent Coloursoft chart

Six colour bubble pack set of Derwent Coloursoft, applied at full saturation in squares and then used lightly in textured applications and mixtures on the page. Large leaf courtesy of ~kitten42 who played with them and loves the texture.

These mix really well, and like other Derwent coloured pencils are especially grand for textured applications. However unlike Derwent Artist coloured pencils (same as Studio, thicker core and larger range), they are extremely soft and may be softer than Prismacolors. Feel in the hand is more like an extremely soft graphite pencil than the soft waxiness of Prismacolors though. Smudging is relatively easy and tortillons work great with these. Colors are well chosen as mixing colours.
